John Dittmar received his master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Counselor Education in 1982 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. For over thirty years, his career has encompassed treatment of adolescents and teenagers, families under stress, addictions and substance use issues, sexuality, relationship concerns, crisis intervention and adults with anxiety and depression.
John is an accomplished speaker, presenting on topics ranging from grief response, parenting, adolescent behavior, sexual predation and other subjects to the general public, educators and church leaders. John also serves as an adjunct faculty member to the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg, Westmoreland County Community College, the Community College of Allegheny County and Geneva College.
